This book is a wonderful tool to encourage parents to pray for their children. I was wanting to pray for my boys more and came across this book. It has been so encouraging and beautiful to be able to lift my children up in prayer. I love them so much and want so much for them. Prayers for Your Children has been the perfect jumpstart for me to pray more often for them. I highly recommend this book for all parents and grandparents who want to develop a deeper prayer life with their husband or wife to pray for their children or grandchildren.

Scary Close by Donald Miller Review

I love Donald Miller's writing and was excited to be able to read his new book! It takes a look at relationships and intimacy and Miller shares how he has grown in these areas. His style is so effortless and authentic. I felt like I was reading his journal and so many times I found myself saying, "Me too!" I highly recommend this book because it is easy to read but packs deep insights into personal relationships. Pick it up today! You will love it. I received this book for free from Thomas Nelson Publishers. My opinions are my own.

Home is Where my People Are Review

Such a cute memoir! Perfect beach read this summer. Sophie Hudson has such a fun way of sharing her story and her book "Home is Where My People Are" is a quick, uplifting read. She shares her story from growing up to present day. I love how she weaves her faith into each chapter. I laughed at her Southern stories and was encouraged by her uplifting story. I recommend this to women who are looking for a fun summer read, to be encouraged in your faith, and want a great laugh! I received this book for free for in exchange for an honest review from Tyndale Publishers.

Unafraid:

Unafraid:  Trusting God in an Unsafe World   by Susie Davis is such a good read! It's relatable, intense, authentic, uplifting, and heartfelt. Susie Davis went through a very traumatic event as a young person and she shares how that event shaped her for better and for worse. She shares her true feelings about how God is still good even in the midst of pain and suffering. It's an incredible story and has so many amazing teaching points. I loved the chance to read it and walked away with with a renewed sense of God's goodness even in the midst of suffering. Susie's style of writing is so relatable and I felt so encouraged by her story. I highly recommend this book to any woman struggling with fear. Fear can be so multi faceted and "Unafraid" speaks to so many different parts of them.
